Hi, I’m Matthias Roehl.

I’m a woodworker, cabinet maker, and craftsman.

My Father likes to say I have sawdust in my veins. And after inhaling wood particles for the majority of my life, he might be right!

I feel like I've been created to do this work: using my skills and hands to fabricate unique designs and helping others to attain functional spaces that they love.

I'm proud of the knowledge base I have acquired from my diverse learning opportunities. In my youth, I learned by assisting my father with numerous home woodworking projects. I was often found creating my own designs and trying out new concepts. Later, in my professional life, I worked for a high-end custom residential cabinetry company and later at a commercial cabinetry shop specializing in luxury retail build-outs (Louis Vuitton, Nordstroms, Tory Burch, Monte Blanc). My diverse experience has given me confidence in both old world handcrafting techniques and modern technologies that provide precision and uniformity.

This experience also helps me to guide you, the client, in the process of design to ensure an excellent and functional finished project.

I strive to create cabinetry and millwork that is beautiful, functional and unique.

Dream it

I love the whole process of taking raw materials, and turning it into something functional, beautiful, and unique to help organize people’s lives and let their creative vision be realized.

Perhaps you dream of reimagining a room layout or updating a current layout. Meeting to hear about your vision and goals and walking through a space helps me to guide you, the client, in the process of design to ensure an excellent and functional finished project.

My goal is to help you.

Specializing in residential custom projects, we/I love getting to use a variety of materials. The goal is to give different areas in a house a uniqueness while still maintaining an overall cohesion and ultimately a gorgeous and functional space for you and your family to enjoy.

Build it

Taking the designs and beginning to cut out the pieces is an awesome day. I am in my happy place when my flannel is covered in sawdust.

After processing the raw materials either by hand or by programming, the design will begin to take shape.

The best day in the life of your design is when all the pieces come together for installation. This is when the vision becomes reality, when the cabinetry or project begins to harmonize, align, and provide function and purpose, resulting in a lasting creation.
